In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.
The mission centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
