Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
